ADMINISTRATOR UPDATES

31 January 2020

The team at Breeze have been working extremely hard and have processed 14,000 meter readings to finalise customer accounts. If you have not already done so, customers should take a final meter reading and notify Breeze Energy and British Gas.

The Administrators have agreed with British Gas that the final meter reading you provide to Breeze Energy will be used by British Gas as their opening meter reading for your account with them irrespective of the date the meter read is taken. This meter read will form the basis of your final bill from Breeze for your supply up to 22 December 2019. This process has been agreed to minimise inconvenience given the changes in tariffs also to provide an agreed point at which point your account will be closed – it will also eliminate the need to estimate readings where meter readings are held.

The Administrators currently envisage that, if you have submitted your meter reading, customers should receive their final account balance within the next two weeks showing how much you owe or are owed by Breeze.

The Administrators will contact you for payment if you owe Breeze money and will notify British Gas of any credit balances who will update your British Gas account.
